1 in 4 Workers Struggle With Back Pain.
A recent report published in the Annals of Internal Medicine reveal that 1 in 4 American workers struggle with chronic lower back pain. That equates to roughly 40 million Americans. In fact, 80 percent of adults will experience a disabling episode of lower back pain at some point in their lives. It's no surprise, then, that lower back pain is the leading cause of disability among working-age adults.
Unfortunately, too many people are turning to opioid pain killers for their chronic lower back pain. Not only is this contributing to the current opioid epidemic, but pain killers do nothing to help improve the condition. Masking symptoms will just prolong the problem, and sometimes even make the problem worse as further damage is done while under the influence of opioids.
Chiropractic care, on the other hand, uses no drugs or surgery and is highly successful in treating both chronic and acute lower back pain. When you feel better with chiropractic care it's because you are better....we don't just cover up symptoms but actually make your back and spinal joints move and work better.
